The Presidency of the Republic reported that the two presidents discussed the quality of Algerian-Turkish relations and their high and distinguished level.
During this call, they reviewed the situation in the Gaza Strip and analyzed the developments, agreeing to continue supporting joint bilateral efforts until the occupied State of Palestine obtains full membership in the United Nations.
The source indicated that in this effort, the Turkish President thanked the President of the Republic, highly appreciating Algeria’s positions and firm principles towards the Palestinian issue and the efforts made at the level of the UN Security Council.
