Today, Monday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call from the President of the friendly Republic of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, in which he informed him of the postponement of the high-level Mediterranean Dialogue Forum, which was scheduled to be held in the capital, Rome, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Republic.
The statement said: “Today, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call from the President of the friendly Republic of Italy, Mr. Sergio Mattarella, in which he informed him of the postponement of the high-level Mediterranean Dialogue Forum that was scheduled to be held in Rome, Italy.”
This phone call also constituted – the statement adds – “an opportunity to discuss the close bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen them.”
