The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, emphasized that local communities are the basic pillar of the state.

The President of the Republic pointed out that “there is no objection to municipalities ceding some public services, such as cleanliness, to local institutions, and creating legal mechanisms for accountability for performance,” highlighting that in the new version of the law, “the position of disbursing officer was proposed for the head of the state People’s Assembly so that the local elective becomes responsible.” With full powers.”
On the other hand, the President of the Republic stated that “more than 6.5 million Algerians were included in the reforms of the shadow areas,” stressing that “some of the officials whose duties were terminated believed that the development of the shadow areas was not within the scope of their responsibilities.”

He continued, saying: “We will protect this country, whose people have the blood of martyrs flowing through their veins. No one should think that Algeria can be preyed upon with a hashtag.”
In a related context, the President of the Republic stressed the need to “end the construction of unfinished building facades and find legal formulas to finance the completion of citizens’ buildings.” He also urged “finding formulas to grant real estate to establish small professional activities for craftsmen in designated areas.”
The President of the Republic called on all local officials to “respect the administrative system to receive citizens, especially young people, to listen to their concerns.”
On the same occasion, the President of the Republic reaffirmed that “governors are under protection, taking into account the administrative mistakes they make unless they are clear corruption of all descriptions,” adding: “We are aware of the remnants of the gang who threaten governors and local officials by using bullhorns to dissuade them from performing their duties.”

Speaking about the issue of seawater desalination, the President of the Republic revealed that Algeria “will operate five seawater desalination plants before Ramadan, God willing,” calling on governors to “integrate into the wastewater exploitation system in all states and pay full attention to this plan.”
