President Tebboune inaugurates the Algerian-Portuguese Businessmen Forum in Lisbon – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, inaugurated this morning, Wednesday, the Algerian-Portuguese Businessmen Forum in the capital, Lisbon, in the presence of the Portuguese Prime Minister, Antonio Costa.

The inauguration took place on the second day of the state visit of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Portugal, where the economic meeting aims to bring investors of the two countries closer. In his opening speech to economic dealers, the president stressed that the Algerian economy recovering from debt aims to create more jobs, adding that Algeria seeks to develop its partnership in the field of renewable energies.

President Tebboune emphasized in his speech that the new investment law aims to improve the investment climate in Algeria and protects investors, directing his call to Portuguese investors to establish partnerships with Algerian businessmen in Algeria.

For his part, the Portuguese Prime Minister affirmed that Algeria is a strong partner for Portugal, praising the keenness of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to advance this partnership, especially in the economic field.

In context, he emphasized The Portuguese Prime Minister on many areas in which the bilateral partnership can be developed, such as renewable energies and hydrogen.

The Algerian-Portuguese businessmen’s forum, during its meeting today, is working on discussing opportunities for cooperation and partnership available between the two parties within the framework of advancing economic cooperation.
