President Tebboune appoints Nadhir Arbawi as Prime Minister of the Government, succeeding Ben Abdel Rahman – Algerian Dialogue
The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, appointed Nadhir Al-Arbawi as Prime Minister of Government, succeeding Mr. Ayman bin Abdelrahman, whose duties were terminated.
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic said: Based on the Constitution, especially Article 91 (5 and 7) thereof, and in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 21-275 dated Dhul-Qi’dah 19, 1442, corresponding to June 30, 2021, which includes the appointment of the Prime Minister, the President of the Republic appointed Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Mr. Nazir Al-Arbawi, Prime Minister, succeeding Mr. Ayman bin Abdul Rahman, whose duties were terminated. Mr. Boualem Boualem, Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of Legal Affairs, Judicial Affairs, Relations with Institutions, Investigations and Rehabilitations, was also appointed as Acting Director of the Office of the President of the Republic.
