While supervising the inauguration and putting into operation of the dual route project No. 88, which connects the state of Khenchela to the borders of the state of Batna at a distance of 14 km, the President of the Republic highlighted the importance of this dual road in “giving dynamism to economic activity in the region.”

Subsequently, the President of the Republic, at the urban center level in the city of Khenchela, laid the foundation stone for the construction of 600 public rental homes and listened to a presentation on the housing, agriculture, irrigation and forestry sectors in the state.

Regarding the project to revive the Green Dam, the President of the Republic stressed the need to diversify trees, especially in populated areas, stressing the importance of giving young people the opportunity to exploit them in productive projects.

On the sidelines of his working and inspection visit to the state, the President of the Republic received a popular reception and a warm welcome from notables and citizens of the state of Khenchela, in gratitude for the interest he pays to promoting development in the state.

At the beginning of this visit, the President of the Republic, who was accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Said Chengriha, was received by the local civil and military authorities, where he listened to the national anthem and reviewed formations from the various forces of the People’s National Army who gave him an honorable salute.
