President of the Supreme Council for Youth, visits the “Sidi Razin” refinery on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr – Al Hewar Algeria

On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, Mostafa Hidawi, head of the Supreme Council for Youth, made a field visit to the oil refinery in Sidi Razin, located in the municipality of Baraki, Algiers, where he appreciated the “valuable efforts made by young talents” who are persistent there and who are keen to ensure the continuation of production.

Hidawi stressed that the visit is “a tribute to the Algerian youth’s talents, who are always watching over the provision of various services.”

In this opportunity, the Chairman of the Council was briefed on all the facilities and structures that make up this refinery, which is considered among the strategic achievements aimed at enhancing Algeria’s energy security and diversifying its sources.

For his part, the director of the Sidi Razine refinery, Abdel Hakim Zemmouri, explained that this unit of Sonatrach, which operates on a 24-hour shift system, employs 100 percent Algerian youth graduates from universities and national institutes.
He added that these young executives control all the techniques of modern technologies that the refinery operates with.
