The Presidency of the Republic issued a statement regarding the information circulating regarding “an alleged review of the conditions for benefiting from the unemployment grant.”

Accordingly, the Presidency of the Republic is reassured that this important decision, which aims to provide relief for a segment of society, especially our youth, is an irreversible achievement, and that nothing will change regarding the conditions of the unemployment grant, which also provides the right to social security and a recovery card.

President Tebboune: 20 thousand young people gave up unemployment benefits for this reason

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, said that the unemployment grant decision was ridiculed and described as a disaster, but things are going the opposite of what was circulated and described.

An increase was recorded in the number of new members of the social security system for the year 2023, reaching 1,038,424 new members, distributed as follows:

– 132,986 new members of the non-salaried system.

The number of employees also increased from 369,365 at the end of 2021 to 423,212 at the end of 2023.
