The delegation of the temporary information mission of the Committee on Education, Higher Education, Scientific Research and Religious Affairs, headed by Tayeb Ramadani, head of the delegation, continues its program of visits across the southern states, as it moved today, Tuesday, to the state of Djanet, in order to see and inspect a number of facilities and facilities related to the educational and religious sector.

The delegation was received by the governor of the state, Ben Abdullah Shayeb Al-Dur, accompanied by the head of the state people’s assembly, Ouidjan Suleiman, as well as the secretary-general of the state, the chief of staff and the director of education.

During the morning, the delegation scheduled a visit to some educational institutions, where the first point was “Omar bin Al-Khattab” secondary school, where the delegation inspected the various facilities of the institution, then moved to “Tin Henan” secondary school, where it recorded a number of concerns related to the secondary school, such as the absence of necessary equipment and Playgrounds for sports activities in good conditions,

After that, the delegation moved to Al-Bashir Al-Ibrahimi Intermediate School in the “Tin Khatama” neighborhood, where it was closely acquainted with the reality of this educational institution, which suffers from the absence of sports facilities, in addition to the absence of feeding services for students, as well as the interruption of laboratory office services due to the lack of gas.

The last stop visited by the members of the inquiry mission was the “Prince Abdul Qadir” school, where he was briefed on some of the problems and concerns faced by the officials of this primary school in order to improve the conditions of schooling for students.

After that, the members of the inquiry mission scheduled a meeting that brought them together with the Director of Education “Bosbe’at Sekto” and some sector officials, including pedagogical inspectors and teachers, in the “Tin Henan” secondary school, where the deputies, members of the committee, listened to a number of concerns that require more efforts to solve them and overcome them. Some of the intervenors had the opportunity to raise concerns related to the absence of automated information halls in various secondary and middle schools, and the absence of school transportation, which is among the conditions that help the continuation of schooling for students from remote neighborhoods from their schooling institutions, as according to them, it needs to intensify efforts from the municipality’s interests, the Directorate of Education And parents of students, in addition to transportation institutions, in order to find solutions to the difficulties faced by students in transportation.

In the same context, some teachers called for the renewal of furniture such as utensils, tables and chairs and fortifying them with new equipment, given the age of this equipment, as well as finding a solution to the large broken freezers across all schools, with the preparation of school restaurants and boarding houses across the entire territory of the state.

In addition to this, many concerns were recorded mainly related to the provision of functional and compulsory housing, which constituted a concern among teachers due to the inability of schools to receive them, with the allocation of quotas of promotional rental housing for the benefit of the teacher in the municipalities of the state,

Some of the interveners also called for improving the services provided in programming field examinations for schools, as well as the need to expedite the preparation of yards in primary schools with artificial turf and speed up the process in the yards that are at risk.

In conclusion, the head of the delegation, Tayeb Ramadani, praised upon his intervention the warm reception he received along with the deputies, members of the committee, as he explained that this visit, which was programmed in the state of Djanet, was aimed at closely examining the concerns related to the sectors in the areas of competence of the committee, and is also considered an accompaniment to important sectors. The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is keen on it, in order to promote it and support it with every effort, which requires the committee to raise all these concerns and shortcomings to the guardian authority in order to address them and find appropriate solutions for them.

As for the religious affairs sector, the delegation moved during the evening to the headquarters of the Directorate of Religious Affairs and Endowments, where the first official at the head of the sector revealed that the directorate suffers from a great deficit in supervising mosques, especially among the ranks of Qur’anic teaching teachers and religious assistants, weak administrative supervision and a lack of The office experience of the Directorate’s employees, and the same speaker called for finding solutions related to the old endowments “functional housing,” which constitute a significant percentage of the total endowment properties, especially since most of the endowment properties do not have supporting documents.

In addition, the Director of Religious Affairs, Zubair bin Yakan, suggested allocating financial subsidies to carry out various activities, especially with regard to honorary awards for memorizers of the Holy Qur’an in competitions that are held on various religious and national occasions, with the need to provide endowment housing for imams and sector employees to eliminate vacancy and instability. With the facilitation of the opening process, the issuance of decisions to open some mosques for Friday prayers, especially in populated areas.

In conclusion, the head of the delegation, Tayeb Ramadani, promised that the committee would do everything in its power to accompany this sector, and record all these concerns and shortcomings, to present them to the guardian authority, and this is in order to raise the challenge on a sector that is among the most important sectors, especially in the state of Djanet, which is considered an incubator for memorizers of the Holy Qur’an.
