Nazir Al-Arbawi assumed his duties as Prime Minister this Saturday evening during the handover and receipt ceremony that took place at the Government Palace.
Today, Saturday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, ended the duties of Prime Minister Ayman bin Abdel Rahman.
Nazir Al-Arbawi was also appointed Prime Minister of the Government, succeeding Ayman bin Abdul Rahman, whose duties were terminated.
The Presidency of the Republic’s statement said: “Based on the Constitution, especially Article 91 (5 and 7) thereof, and in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 21-275 of Dhu al-Qa’dah 19, 1442, corresponding to June 30, 2021. Which included the appointment of the Prime Minister, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, appointed Nadir. Al-Arbawi, Prime Minister. Successor to Ayman bin Abdul Rahman, whose duties have ended. He also appointed Boualem Boualem, advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of legal affairs, judicial affairs, relations with institutions, investigations and qualifications, as acting director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic.”
