Murad: Controlling territorial borders between local groups is subject to legal texts – Algerian Dialogue
The Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Urban Planning, Ibrahim Murad, confirmed that controlling territorial borders between local communities is subject to legal and regulatory texts.
Murad explained, in his response to a question from a representative of the National People’s Assembly, during a public session devoted to asking oral questions, today, Thursday. He pointed out that his departments are carrying out “technical studies in coordination with the competent departments of the state in order to remove problems related to border control at the level of each municipality while simplifying administrative and practical procedures in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions.”
Regarding strengthening the presence of dispersed civil protection units in the state of Timimoun, Murad stressed that his interests “are seeking, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, to establish two civil protection centers in the state.” Especially in light of heavy traffic recorded on National Road No. 118, which connects the states of El Bayadh and Timimoune.”
On the other hand, the Minister affirmed that his interests are working to “strengthen the police presence, especially through the completion of new security structures, in line with the development recorded in the population census to keep pace with the requirements for security coverage resulting from the procedure for creating mandated states.”
