Murad added, during his reception to the plane, that most of the Algerian community in Sudan returned to Algeria, except for the preference of staying in Sudan.
Mourad said: We thank the People’s National Army, which responds every time to such operations.
A number of members of our community in Sudan and their families, and members of our embassy in Khartoum, arrived this evening from Port Sudan airport on a military plane belonging to the People’s National Army.
The operation also affected 13 Palestinian citizens and 22 Syrian citizens. Upon their arrival at Algiers International Airport, these nationals were received by the Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Urban Planning, Ibrahim Murad, as well as the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues, Kawthar Kreiko.
