On Thursday, the Mouloudia Club of Algiers sent a letter of thanks to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, after awarding the Martyr Ali Ammar Stadium, called “Ali La Pointe,” in Douira to the club.
The text of the letter stated: “The club management, in its name and in the name of all the club’s supporters across the entire national territory and outside it, would like to write to your esteemed sovereignty to thank you for the historic decision that warmed the hearts of all fans of the “Al-Ameed” stadium, which was to grant the exploitation and management of the new stadium to “the martyr Ammar Ali, called Ali.” “La Pointe” in Douira, the capital, as well as all its facilities, for the benefit of the Mouloudia Club of Algiers.
She added: “This decision of yours, Mr. President, is a historic turning point in the busy journey of this ancient club. It will, without a doubt, mark the birth of a new era in the history of the country’s most prestigious club, which today has all the capabilities to return to its former era and compete with the continent’s greats.”
For reference, the stadium will officially be the property of the team, and it may also be placed at the disposal of the Algerian Federation in exchange for a fee.
