Mohamed Lahbib Zahana assumes his duties as head of the Ministry of Transport – Algerian Dialogue

Today, Wednesday, Mohamed Lahbib Zahana assumed his duties as Minister of Transport after his appointment yesterday, Tuesday, by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to head this ministry after consulting the Prime Minister, Nadhir Arbawi.
Zahana was succeeded by Youssef Sharfa, who was appointed Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The ceremony of handing over and receiving the tasks took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in the presence of sector managers and officials of institutions under guardianship.
On this occasion, the new minister extended his sincere thanks to President Tebboune for the “trust” he placed in his person, expressing his will to work with all competencies to improve the management of the sector and achieve the set goals.
As a reminder, the new Minister of Transport held the position of Secretary General of the same ministry.
For his part, Sharfa thanked the President of the Republic for renewing confidence in his person by appointing him as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
In this regard, he stressed that he will spare no effort to live up to this trust.
He also congratulated Sharfa Zahana on his appointment as head of the Ministry of Transport, wishing him “all success and success” in his new duties.
Sharfa considered this appointment a dedication to the efforts made by Zahana and his dedication to work.
