Mobile operator “Mobilis” achieves double-digit growth for the second year in a row – Hewar Algeria

Mobilis maintained its double-digit growth, as it achieved during the first quarter of 2023 an estimated turnover of 36.7 billion Algerian dinars, compared to the same period of the previous year estimated at 32.5 billion Algerian dinars, an increase of 13%.
As for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (l’EBITDA), the latter showed a quantum leap of 15% to reach 16.6 billion Algerian dinars.
At the end of the first quarter of 2023, Mobilis also recorded a significant increase of 7% of its subscribers, with an increase of 1.4 million new subscribers, bringing the total to 21.7 million subscribers.

On the occasion of these encouraging results achieved in the first quarter of 2023, Shawky Bukhazani, CEO of Mobilis, stated that the results of the first quarter of 2023 confirm the efficiency of the performance and results achieved during the past year 2022, maintaining the same double-digit growth pattern.
These figures are the result of implementing a strategy aimed at improving the performance, quality and modernity of the network in terms of coverage and flow.
Achieving double-digit growth for the second year in a row is more than encouraging for a national economic enterprise, but the most important thing is to make this growth and excellence permanent, continuous and part of the enterprise culture.
