Environment Minister Fayza Aleppo confirmed that the state encourages the circular economy by stimulating investment, which has been enshrined in a constitutional approach aimed at achieving sustainable development.

The Minister said, on the sidelines of the opening of the third edition of the Algiers International Salon for Environment and Renewable Energies: “Our country has benefited from $2.8 million from the Green Climate Fund, and our sector will supervise the management of this grant.”
The spokeswoman added: “Our sector works to stimulate investment, especially those related to the green economy and the circular economy, and this highlights the important position that the field has in the program of the President of the Republic by enshrining it in the constitution for a new approach aimed at achieving sustainable development, and this is represented in Commitments 21 and 33.” .

Dahlab added: “Algeria today does not want to live in isolation from the global dynamism of the green economy, which has become a concern of the national strategy for the environment, integrated waste management, and the national strategy for developing renewable energies.”

The Minister of Environment, Fayza Dahlab, stressed the need to allocate university graduates and researchers in the field of renewable energies, with the aim of ensuring the formation of frameworks that will implement the strategy for the various projects related to the sector.

The first official in charge of the sector confirmed that the salon held in Algeria is of great importance, especially with regard to protecting the environment and using clean energies by supporting and encouraging green emerging enterprises, as Algeria has begun implementing a broad program of investment to mobilize water with the aim of meeting the demand directed for human, agricultural and industrial consumption from During the move to desalinate seawater, the issue of water valuation was placed among the priorities of government work, since President Tebboune had set a percentage of 40 percent of the retreated water.

The Minister of Environment highlighted that Algeria will benefit greatly from the pioneering Korean experience in the field of the environment as a guest of honor at the salon.
