Members of the National Assembly ratify important laws
Members of the National Assembly unanimously approved three important laws texts related to the sectors of the interior, local authorities, urban planning, justice and transportation.
Members of the National Assembly voted by majority, in a public session chaired by National Assembly Speaker Salih Gogel, in the presence of government representatives of the three sectors, on the text of a law that includes the rules for prevention, intervention, and disaster risk reduction within the framework of sustainable development. Text of a law relating to combating counterfeiting and the use of counterfeits; The text of a law amends and supplements Law No. 98-06 of Rabi’ al-Awwal 3, 1419, corresponding to June 27, 1998, which specifies the general rules related to civil aviation.
Ibrahim Murad, Minister of the Interior and Local Communities, delivered a speech in which he thanked the members of the National Assembly for their efforts to enrich the text of the law during their discussion and study of it.
The representatives also ratified the text of a law related to combating counterfeiting and the use of counterfeits, and in a speech following the ratification, the government representative, Abdel Rashid Tabbi, Minister of Justice and Keeper of Seals, extended his thanks to the members of the National Assembly for their good cooperation during the course of the work of studying and discussing the text of this law and ratifying it. Noting the spirit of responsibility and the high level of their interventions and the suggestions, observations and recommendations they made; He also thanked the members of the Legal Committee for the preliminary and supplementary reports they prepared on the subject. Which will certainly enrich the content of this text.
He stated that the text of the law related to combating counterfeiting and the use of counterfeiting aims primarily to try to reduce the crime of counterfeiting and the use of counterfeiting in its various dimensions in order to achieve legal and economic security for the country, preserve society and protect the rights of citizens and state institutions. Representatives also voted by majority on the text of a law specifying the general rules related to civil aviation.
The government representative, Mohamed Lahbib Zahana, Minister of Transport, delivered a speech in which he expressed his great gratitude for this ratification, appreciating the high level of discussions raised by Council members on this text during their study of it, at the level of the relevant committee, and during the general debate at the plenary session level.
In this context, the Minister of Transport considered the text of this law to be an important legal building block that enriches our legislative arsenal and adds quality to keeping the field of civil aviation in line with the imposed international standards.
