Marine fishing: revealing the conditions for importing ship engines – New Algeria

In accordance with the measures contained in Finance law For the year 2024, the Ministry of Marine Fishing and Fishery Products invites fishermen and ship outfitters wishing to import used inboard ship engines less than 5 years old, to approach the directorates and chambers of marine fishing and aquaculture across the national territory, in order to inquire and submit files.

It is noteworthy that this measure is of great importance and would solve the problems of many fishermen and ship operators, given the many mechanical faults that they suffer from, especially old ships, which will contribute to increasing the productivity of the fleet and the volume of national fish production.

The file for the application for a license to import used inboard ship engines less than 5 years old:

The customs license application must be filled out and signed (available at the level of fisheries and aquaculture directorates and chambers),

One (1) copy of the marine fishing license and/or licence
