Madahi: We are working to improve youth tourism – Algerian Dialogue

The Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industry, Houria Madahi, confirmed, on Friday evening, in the Ain al-Benyan suburb, west of the capital, that her interests are working to promote youth tourism.

This came as a ceremony honoring the outstanding youth in the national competitions organized on the occasion of the commemoration of the seventies of the glorious Liberation Revolution.

This celebration falls within the framework of the major winter demonstration program organized by the Ministry during the winter vacation under the slogan “Youth in Motion.”

In her speech on the occasion, Madahi highlighted “her sector’s keenness, as an economic tributary to national development efforts, to support youth energies and provide spaces that highlight their creativity.”

She added that her ministerial department “is working to advance, develop and modernize youth tourism” by involving young people in organizing tourism activities, “in line with their interests,” and is also seeking to “enhance tourism services through the formation of qualified youth.”

For his part, the Minister of Youth in charge of the Supreme Youth Council, Mustafa Hidawi, confirmed that the meeting constitutes an “eternal opportunity to remember the epics of the Algerian people,” praising the patriotic spirit of the Algerian youth who remain loyal to the message of the martyrs and mujahideen.

He added that his ministerial sector, within the framework of celebrating the seventieth anniversary of the glorious revolution, wrote “a program that strengthens national values ​​and belonging to our glorious history and memory, by launching a group of competitions and events that would highlight the talents enjoyed by this group.”

Young people participating in the various competitions competed for prizes in several fields, including the short film commemorating the 1970s, the slogan commemorating the 1970s of the Liberation Revolution, the short story commemorating the national memory, and an advertising flash commemorating the 1970s.
