Lieutenant General Saeed Chengriha meets with the head of the Equipment Development Department of the Chinese Central Military Commission – Algerian Dialogue

Within the framework of his official visit to China, and at the headquarters of the Central Military Commission, Lieutenant General Saïd Changriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, today, November 14, 2023, had a meeting with Lieutenant General Xu Xiang, Head of the Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission.

During this expanded meeting, Lieutenant General Saïd Shangriha expressed to his host his deep gratitude for this honor, which he and the accompanying delegation received. In his speech, Mr. Lieutenant General was also keen to recall the distinction of the long-standing relations between the two friendly countries, which witnessed an important expansion of the strategic partnership:

“I would also like to emphasize our high and distinguished appreciation for the quality of the relations between our two countries, which have improved thanks to the will and keenness of the leaders of the two countries to raise their quality, which has enabled the deepening and expansion of our strategic partnership, as was the recent visit of Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to your friendly country, at the invitation of the President “Xi Jinping had a good impact on strengthening Algerian-Chinese historical relations, as this visit was very successful, culminating in the signing of nineteen (19) agreements and memorandums of understanding in various fields, including the fields of security and defense.”

Mr. Lieutenant General Saeed Shangriha also called for the need to strengthen the bilateral relations that bind the two countries in various fields in a way that responds to the ambitions and aspirations of the two countries and the two armies:
