The National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data has launched an extensive statistical process through its electronic portal, regarding the processes related to this type of information.
The process was launched today and aims to prepare for the establishment of a national registry for the protection of personal data stipulated in Article 28 of Law No. 18-07, by obtaining a comprehensive view of all processing of personal data, as the concerned public and private bodies fill in the statistics table with the necessary information from By appointing a qualified representative for it who fulfills the conditions specified by the authority and shown on its website. The table includes the various processing of personal data carried out by public and private bodies, the date of creation of the processing, the legal framework for the processing, the identity and information of the person responsible for the processing and his qualified successor. In addition to the information related to the sub-processor (processing, data storage, data collection,…), the mechanisms adopted for the collection of personal data (data structure, sources of data collection, means of collection, method of data transformation,…).
It also includes information about the data used to perform the processing, how to obtain consent from the person concerned to carry out the processing, the purpose of the processing, the difficulties and obstacles recorded during the processing, the existence of a call center or means of communication to take care of the concerns of the persons involved in the processing, how to correct errors related to the data of a nature Personal data, as well as the procedures taken to secure the data, the list of data collected for each process, how the data is stored, the data retention period and the standards adopted, the number of records for each data file.
It also includes the various accesses to the collected data located (inside and outside the organization), the approved security charter, the data repositories and the means used for storage (inside or outside the organization, subprocessors, archive stores, “Datacenter/Disaster Recovery” data center,…. Partial or total transfer of data to other bodies, other persons, or abroad, and the purpose thereof, and the approved method for storing and archiving data of a personal nature, and the places where it is stored (inside or outside the institution).
