Kamal Badari: “Student projects create wealth and income and ensure economic security” – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia
Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Badari, made a working visit and inspected his leaders to the National School of Veterinary Sciences in El Harrach, which is one of the most important scientific poles in Algeria.
Minister Kamal Badari started his visit by listening to a presentation on artificial intelligence in veterinary medicine, delivered by Ms. Bouhamed, who emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence, “for what it offers to the animal world as it offers to the human world.”
In the second stop, the minister inaugurated the startup space, where he followed a group of innovative projects for students, such as the application of veterinary medicine, the startup INCUBVET-ENSV, and the subsidiary INNOVET QUALITY, where the minister praised such projects and stressed the need to fund them if necessary.
The minister, accompanied by the delegation accompanying him, also toured the research laboratories, as well as the Museum of Anatomy and Anatomy, and stopped at several structures that enhance the knowledge base about the animal life cycle, and provide information on animal wealth that is used for research purposes.
Finally, the minister inspected the “pedagogical farm”, which is rich in livestock with rare breeds.
Regarding the school, Badari explained that the latter “guarantees the quality of education for its students, is in line with the requirements of the economic and social reality, and works to activate innovative projects led by students, to ensure animal security, including food security.”
He added that “these efforts would contribute to wealth creation by providing income and job positions”, especially for innovative students whose projects will be transformed into start-ups or micro-enterprises according to the available support mechanisms, as well as providing spaces for the embodiment of their projects at the university level, so that they become marketable.”
And by the way, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirmed that Algerian universities have reached the zero paper stage, by activating digitization in the areas of governance, training, scientific research and university services.
Badari also revealed the date of “the launch of 6 digital platforms next week, in addition to 29 previous platforms, and thus the higher education sector has reached a great stride in the field of achieving the strategic plan to digitize its activities, consisting of 7 axes, 16 programs and 102 operational programmes.”
