The countdown to school entry has begun, and with it has begun the readiness of the Ministry of Education, as well as local authorities across all states of the country, to create all necessary conditions to receive schoolchildren in the three educational stages, in order to ensure successful and safe school entry, through intensifying field visits and efforts to receive all projects on time.
In this context, the Minister of the Interior, Local Communities and Urban Planning, Ibrahim Murad, on Monday, along with the Minister of Energy and Mines and the Minister of National Education, supervised the ceremony of handing over school transport buses to a number of municipalities in the country.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement on its official Facebook page that 60 buses were delivered as a gift from the Sonatrach complex to benefit 60 municipalities spread across 41 states.
This initiative, which represents the delivery of 30 school buses as a first phase, comes within the framework of the celebrations of the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of Sonatrach, and is considered the result of cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior and Sonatrach, which seeks to contribute to social and charitable activities, as well as to social and economic development, especially local and national solidarity, in accordance with its values as a citizen institution.
In the same regard, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues, Kawthar Kriko, confirmed that the capabilities and necessary measures have been harnessed and the necessary measures have been taken at the level of institutions specialized in education for people with special needs affiliated with the sector to make the next school season a success, highlighting that the total number of children with special needs registered for the season For the academic year 2023-2024, there are more than 30,000 disabled children, especially children with hearing, visual and motor disabilities, distributed among 239 institutions specialized in education affiliated with the National Solidarity Sector and 17 annexes, in addition to 1,194 special departments.
Regarding educational supervision, Kriko highlighted that the pedagogical staff in the sector’s specialized institutions includes more than 15,000 supervisors, including professors, educators, psychologists and social assistants, in order to accompany and provide pedagogical and psychological care for people with disabilities.
In anticipation of the academic, university and training entry for 2023/2024, and in order to consolidate the culture of preserving the environment and the environment, the Algiers state’s interests have begun through state public institutions, such as the Cleaning and Household Waste Removal Institution “Extra-Nat” and the Cleaning and Household Waste Collection “NatCom” Institution, in coordination with individuals. The Algerian Islamic Scouts of the State of Algiers, the national campaign to clean and beautify the school environment, launched by the Prime Minister’s interests, in coordination with the environment and solidarity sectors, under the slogan “Study entry in a clean environment,” as this initiative aims to create all conditions to receive our students in good conditions.
The Governor of Annaba State, Abdelkader Glaoui, also held a meeting at the state headquarters, devoting its agenda to presenting and studying many files, especially the extent of the state’s preparations for the upcoming social school entry. He ordered the acceleration of the remaining work, linking schools to the Internet service to ensure school entry in the best conditions, and organizing campaigns. Continuous cleaning of the surroundings, while giving instructions to resume construction work on educational institutions that had been suspended in the municipality of Annaba.
For its part, the interests of the Bejaia Electricity and Gas Distribution Directorate have begun the work of connecting all educational institutions to electric and gas energy, especially those scheduled to enter into service for the current school season.
In parallel with the implementation of the program to link educational institutions to electric and gas energy, the efforts of the Bejaia Electricity and Gas Distribution Directorate continue to implement and implement many projects at the level of the various municipalities of the state in various vital sectors, in keeping with the development movement witnessed by the state of Bejaia.
