The Minister of Internal Trade and National Market Control, ALatayeb Olive Accompanied by the Governor of Bashar, Muhammad Al-Saeed bin Qamu, today, Monday, in the presence of the President of the State People’s Assembly, and the civil and security authorities of the state, on an inspection visit to a special building in the municipality of Mughal.

During the visit, the Minister listened to a detailed presentation about this unit and its production capabilities. The Minister also conducted a field inspection and looked closely at the process of producing milk bags.

In a press statement, the Minister stressed the commitment to ensuring quality in dairy products, adding that quality is a red line, and protecting consumer health and enhancing confidence in the national product is the sector’s priority.

Mr. Zitouni revealed that the internal trade sector is working

To improve local distribution networks and ensure its arrival to all regions without delay, so that a bag of milk does not travel far from its place of production, adding that a digital platform has been allocated to follow up on the distribution of milk at the national level, to ensure that this basic material is continuously available in all regions. “The Minister explained that milk is witnessing a noticeable abundance in the market, and that the sector is committed to continuing to improve distribution mechanisms to ensure its continuity.

He also revealed that the quantities directed to dairy products would be increased in anticipation of the increase in demand throughout the holy month, to ensure the availability of basic goods for citizens.
