President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune awarded King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan, on Saturday evening in Algiers, the Medal of Merit of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Republic.

His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein also decorated President Tebboune with the Al-Nahda Medal, the highest Jordanian civil royal decoration granted to presidents, according to the statement.

Yesterday, Saturday evening, the Jordanian monarch embarked on a two-day state visit to Algeria, at the invitation of President Tebboune.
