In pictures.. Lieutenant General Al-Said Chanegriha supervises the implementation of the “Resolve 2023” demonstration exercise – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

Within the framework of his inspection and work visit to the Third Military Region, and after his supervision yesterday of the implementation of the tactical exercise with live ammunition “Chapter 2023”, Lieutenant General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, moved to the southern operational sector in Tindouf, where he supervised today, Wednesday, the Implementation of a demonstration exercise with live ammunition “Resolve 2023”, as a culmination of the combat preparation year 2022/2023.

The exercise was carried out by the organic units of the 9th Armored Brigade, supported by units of the ground forces and the air forces, including fire support helicopters.

At the beginning, Lieutenant General, accompanied by Major General Mostafa Semali, Commander of the 3rd Military Region, listened to a presentation by the Commander of the Southern Operational Sector in Tindouf about the general idea, the stages of implementation of this tactical exercise, and its desired objectives. Before moving to the firing range and the maneuvers of the southern operational sector in Tindouf, where he closely followed the course of the exercise, which was carried out in conditions close to reality, according to the set plan, and in line with the established objectives, represented mainly in training commanders and staffs to prepare and organize combat actions, as well as equipping commanders Experience in controlling units by achieving harmony, coordination and cooperation between sub-units, and enabling crews to acquire more skills in controlling weapon systems, as well as testing operational readiness and the ability to successfully implement assigned tasks in various circumstances.

The course of the exercise clearly confirmed the ability of the participating units to successfully implement the assigned tasks, especially in the field of good control of the crews in the various weapons and modern high-tech equipment, and also confirms the development and operational readiness reached by the various components of the battle force of the People’s National Army.

At the end of the exercise, the team had its first meeting with the members of the participating units, where it congratulated them on the great efforts they had made throughout the year of combat preparation, as well as during the preparation and implementation of this exercise, and assured them of his personal keenness to attend such exercises, through which an objective and correct judgment can be made, over a period of time. Implementing combat preparation programs at all levels, as well as evaluating the extent of field application of the programmed successive stages, urging everyone to continue in the same manner and with the same care and determination.

Then, Lieutenant General inspected the units of the 9th Armored Brigade and the rest of the units participating in this exercise.
