The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, and the Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and the United Nations in the United Kingdom, Lord Ahmed Wimbledon, met Thursday in London, within the framework of the second session of the strategic dialogue between Algeria and the United Kingdom.
At the conclusion of this session, the two sides issued a joint statement in which they agreed on the determination of Algeria and the United Kingdom to continue to promote and strengthen the bilateral partnership in all fields and to cooperate on regional and international issues of common concern.
The two ministers also signed a memorandum of understanding on the security of port facilities and the annual work plan for bilateral cooperation, as well as a memorandum of understanding that includes the establishment of a joint working committee on bilateral economic relations and investment.
