On the sidelines of the eleventh session of the Algerian-Russian Joint Intergovernmental Committee for Economic, Commercial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, held during the period extending from October 25 to 26, 2023 in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation, Mohamed Abdel Hafiz Hani, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, had many official meetings, He held a bilateral meeting today, Thursday, October 26, 2023, with Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation.
This meeting took place in the presence of senior officials, delegations of the two countries, and the Algerian ambassador to Russia.
The Minister had the opportunity to discuss several issues and issues related to the two friendly countries, and the conversations centered on the reality of partnership and cooperation relations between the two countries in areas of common interest and ways to enhance them, especially with regard to the field of water and aquatic wealth, as well as in the field of forests. Where Mohamed Abdel Hafeez Hani, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, presented Algeria’s pioneering experience in the field of protecting and developing forest wealth within the socio-economic approach to reviving and developing the Green Dam.
The meeting also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of renewable energies, especially in confronting climate change and sustainability.
