On Monday, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Kamal Badari honored the students who won the “Huawei” technology competition in Shenzhen, China.
In addition to the Minister of Higher Education, the honoring was attended by Yassin Walid, Minister of Knowledge Economy and Emerging Enterprises, and Minister of Post and Transport Karim Bibi Triki.
Kamal Badari wrote on his official Facebook page: “It is a great honor to meet my friends, the heroic students, after their well-deserved success in winning the first place in the world in the international competition for technologies held in China.”
Minister Badari added, “Congratulations to Algeria, long live Algeria, glory and eternity to our martyrs.”
For reference, the Algerian team ranked first and second globally in the global technology competition, organized by the Chinese company “Huawei”, among 120,000 students from 2000 universities in the world, in the fields of cloud computing, networks and automated information.
The same team consists of students from universities and schools in Batna, Bejaia, Algiers, Algiers 1, Blida 1, Saida, Sidi Bel Abbes, Oran and Tlemcen.
It is noteworthy that the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, congratulated the Algerian team, the winner of this international competition, in a tweet to him through his official account on “Twitter”.
