Hassani appreciates the position of the Algerian state in supporting the Palestinian people – Algerian Dialogue

Today, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received Mr. Abdelali Hassani, Chairman of the Movement for Society for Peace, at his request.

In his statement following his reception by the President of the Republic, the head of the Movement for Society for Peace appreciated the position of the Algerian state, led by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in advocating for the Palestinian people and supporting the Palestinian cause.

Mr. Hassani said that this meeting, which took place at his request, constituted “an opportunity to consult on the various issues that concern our homeland and the Palestinian issue,” praising on this occasion “the Algerian official position and the diplomatic movement, as well as the humanitarian and legal position” in order to advocate for the Palestinian people and support their just cause.

During this meeting, the head of the Movement for Society for Peace added, “issues of national concern were touched upon, most notably the social front and the economic situation,” stressing the necessity of “moving toward a national consensus that brings together Algerians around a vision that would develop the country and raise its capabilities to fortify it and defend its defense.” Its unity and cohesion.”

In this context, Mr. Hassani explained that Algeria is “a pivotal country in Africa and at the level of the Mediterranean,” especially since it has become – as he said – “represented in the UN Security Council and has an opinion that should be heard and influential in the direction of events.”
