Hamas representatives question the government about exaggerated bills
The Parliamentary Group of the Movement for Society for Peace (Hamas) submitted a “third” interrogation directed to the Prime Minister, Ayman bin Abdel Rahman, about the legal basis of the ministerial committee related to pursuing importing companies on charges of exaggerated invoices.
The parliamentary group of the Hamas movement explained, in the text of the interrogation, a copy of which was received by Al-Ikhbariya, that the interrogation was submitted by the deputy head of the parliamentary group, Ahmed Sadouk.
The same statement added, in the government’s third interrogation of the parliamentary group of the Movement for Society for Peace during the month of September, the head of the parliamentary group, Ahmed Sadok, submitted an interrogation about the legal basis of the ministerial committee that is prosecuting several importing companies on charges of exaggerating their invoices during the period 2009-2019.
The parliamentary group added that this unfortunate and useless incident will have major impacts on the stability and reputation of the national economy, as well as its impact on the investment climate in Algeria, as the same group sounded the alarm, by activating this constitutional oversight mechanism of questioning the government about this issue. Al-Khadraa asked about the legislative framework and legal basis for the mission of this ministerial committee, and why it was ultimately frozen.
The same group asked about the urgent measures that the government intends to take to restore a stable business climate, and what is the way to protect the Algerian economy from actions that harm it without considering future consequences and effects.
The Parliamentary Group of the Movement for Society for Peace directed two interrogations in a row during this month, regarding the rise in prices and the collapse of citizens’ purchasing power, and regarding the medicine shortage crisis.
