In the same context, the Bureau explained that those concerned can travel with the Bureau or one of the tourism agencies licensed to organize Hajj for this season, which numbered 50 agencies.
Regarding the distribution of states over the approved take-off airports, an allocation has been made airport Algeria to transport pilgrims coming from the states of Algeria, Chlef, Medea, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Boumerdes, Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou, Tipaza, Bouira, Blida, Ain Defla, M’Sila and Tissemsilt.
Adrar Airport was designated to transport pilgrims from Adrar, Timimoun and In Saleh, while Laghouat Airport takes care of pilgrims from the states of Laghouat and Djelfa.
In turn, Batna Airport will transport pilgrims from the states of Batna, Khenchela, Biskra and Ouled Jalal, while Bechar Airport will transport pilgrims from the states of Bechar, Beni Abbes and Tindouf.
As for Taminghast Airport, it was designated for pilgrims from the states of Taminghast, In Guzzam and Bordj Badji Mokhtar, while Tlemcen Airport includes pilgrims from Tlemcen, Naama, Sidi Bel Abbes and Ain Temouchent.
For the same purpose, Annaba Airport was designated for transporting pilgrims from the states of Annaba, Guelma, Souk Ahras, El Tarf and Tebessa, while Ghardaia Airport is responsible for transporting pilgrims from the states of Ghardaia and Menia.
Constantine Airport is expected to transport pilgrims coming from the states of Constantine, Mila, Jijel, Oum El Bouaghi, Setif and Skikda, and Ouargla Airport from the states of Ouargla, Touguert, El Oued, El Mughair, Illizi and Djanet.
Oran Airport was programmed to cover the states of Oran, Mascara, Tiaret, Mostaganem, Relizane, El Bayadh and Saida.
The Director General of the National Office for Hajj and Umrah, Saleh Bouterfa, revealed that more than 20 percent of pilgrims have paid the costs of the 2024 Hajj across the states.
Bouterfa called on citizens concerned with performing Hajj for this year 1445 AH/2024 AD, and who have completed the initial procedures, to go to the Bank of Algeria branch at the level of each state to pay the cost of Hajj.
The Bureau announced in a statement that citizens concerned with performing the Hajj rituals for this season, and who have obtained a certificate of success for performing the Hajj rituals for this season, a health booklet, and a certificate of health qualification to perform the Hajj rituals, are invited to go to the Bank of Algeria branch at the level of each state to pay the cost of Hajj, estimated at 840,000. 00 DZD, including the travel ticket, before March 20.
The same source indicated that those concerned must be accompanied by a biometric passport with a validity period of no less than 6 months, starting from the date of June 14, 2024, a certificate of success issued by the municipal authorities for this season 1445 AH / 2024 AD, and a health qualification certificate issued by the state medical committee.
After paying the dues, they will receive a payment receipt for the cost of Hajj services, estimated at: 670,000,00 DZD, and a payment receipt for the travel ticket, estimated at: 170,000,00 DZD, the statement adds.
The Hajj and Umrah Office clarified that the rest of the required administrative steps and procedures will be announced later in accordance with the time deadlines specified for them.
