Haji holds a series of meetings with representatives of companies active in the fields of importing and producing medicines – Algerian Dialogue

The Minister Delegate to the Minister of Industry in charge of Pharmaceutical Production, Fouad Haji, held a series of meetings with representatives of many companies active in the fields of importing and producing medicines, where he called for focusing on the production of innovative medicines in line with the strategic directions of the state, according to a statement by the ministry reported today, Saturday.

According to the statement, these “fruitful meetings,” which fall within the framework of supporting and developing the pharmaceutical production sector, formed a “strategic platform” to evaluate the dynamics of the national market, and highlight current investments that enhance self-sufficiency and open export prospects to regional and international markets.

During these meetings, “mechanisms for improving the investment climate by accelerating administrative procedures were also discussed, especially with regard to registering medicines and organizing import programs to ensure the smooth flow of supply,” the statement adds.

In this context, Mr. Hajji called on customers to take advantage of the incentives and facilities available within the new investment law, “with a focus on producing innovative medicines that meet the highest international standards, in line with the strategic directions of the state and embodying the instructions of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at achieving health security.” and enhancing national competitive capabilities.”

By the way, the Delegate Minister renewed the Ministry’s commitment to “immediately and effectively addressing” the concerns of customers, while ensuring the opening of sustainable channels of communication based on “transparency and constructive partnership,” to ensure the achievement of the desired development goals in this vital sector.

For their part, customers appreciated the Ministry’s strategic vision and the efforts made to support the sector, stressing their commitment to developing their investments and expanding their production capabilities in accordance with quality and innovation standards, according to the statement.
