The Minister explained that the financial cover allocated for the retirement grant witnessed a significant increase, jumping from 18 billion DZD in the years 2016 and 2017 to 170 billion DZD in 2024, which confirms the soundness of the national economy and the development that the country is witnessing.

Ben Taleb stated that since the year 2020, many measures have been taken by the President of the Republic, including the approval of self-employment, the unification of employment support devices, and the major integration process for the benefit of more than 500,000 beneficiaries of pre-employment contracts and more than 2 million young people who benefit from the unemployment grant, including more than 500,000. In this regard, he added that these achievements fall within the framework of the 54 commitments of the President of the Republic, noting that all of these achievements aim to adopt a diversified economy, and the greatest evidence of this is the testimony of the International Monetary Fund, which highlighted in its report that Algeria is witnessing economic growth of 4.1 percent. .

He pointed out that the measures taken by the President of the Republic from 2020 to 2024 were close to the workers, the unemployed and the retired, and this indicates that the President has a forward-looking view.
The Minister will continue his inspection visit to the state, where he will supervise the putting into service the headquarters of the local employment agency in the city of Tignev, which benefited from rehabilitation works, as well as the inauguration of the headquarters of the two agencies of the National Retirement and Unemployment Insurance Funds in the city of Mascara.

He will also inspect the headquarters of the two sub-directories of information systems and collection and collection disputes affiliated with the National Social Insurance Fund Agency for Salaried Workers, and will receive a presentation on the services provided by the same agency.
