Gojel orders the embodiment of proposals related to oversight functions – the Algerian dialogue

The National Assembly Bureau met today, in the presence of the heads of the parliamentary groups and the parliamentary observer headed by Salih Goujil, to set the work calendar for the current month of May, as he directed to arrange priorities and start work in order to translate the proposals within the framework of the National Assembly carrying out its oversight duties.

At the beginning of the meeting, Goujil appreciated the decisions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on the occasion of the International Labor Day, and what is related to employees and the category of retirees, and the procedures related to the promotion of investment and the agricultural field, according to him, are considered a natural extension of those steps and decisions that previously affected various walks of life and affected all segments of society.

And a statement by the National Assembly stated that the first item of the agenda relates to a proposal for a nominal list of members of the National Assembly within the equal-member committee of the two chambers of Parliament, regarding the provisions of Article 22 of the organic law related to media, which is in dispute, and pursuant to the provisions of the law, the attendees were briefed with the names of representatives of the Parliament. The nation is within the committee, and it has been approved.

And with regard to the draft calendar proposed for the work of the National Assembly, which is devoted to studying and discussing three texts of laws, represented in the monetary and banking law, the text of the law that relates to the rules of public accounting and financial management; As well as the text of the law related to the prevention and settlement of collective labor disputes and the exercise of the right to strike, it was decided to resume public sessions, starting from the morning of Monday, May 8, and until Tuesday, May 16, the date of opinion on the texts of the three laws by members of Parliament.

It was also decided to schedule a plenary session to ask oral questions on Thursday, May 18th. During this meeting, the National Assembly Office dealt, in addition to studying internal administrative issues, by studying and discussing the proposals of the permanent committees of the parliament, especially those related to holding hearings for members of the government, programming temporary information missions, and deciding on a number of them, as Gogel directed the embodiment of the proposals related to Parliament to exercise its oversight functions.

Tomorrow, Thursday, the National Assembly will hold a plenary session, devoting it to directing nine questions orally to four members of the government, pertaining to the interior, local authorities, and urban planning sectors; higher education and scientific research; public works and basic installations; and transportation.
