The Federal Authority attached its statement, offering condolences to the family of the deceased, as it wrote: “With this great loss, the President of the Algerian Federation, Walid Sadi, in his name and in the name of the members of his Federal Office, extends sincere condolences and the highest expressions of sympathy, to the family of the deceased and all the football family in Algeria, asking God Almighty. May his pure soul be showered with His vast mercy, and may He reside in His spacious Paradise.”

Khalaf Mohieddine’s name was linked to the JS Kabylie team, which he led to achieve many titles, in addition to his presence in the supporting staff of the late former national voter Rachid Makhloufi during the 1982 World Cup.

The late Algerian football legend, Khalif Mohieddine, is considered one of the most prominent makers of Algerian football history, as he led the “Greens” in the 1984 African Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire, to occupy third place.
