The President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, honored the Algerian Civil Protection for the efforts of the Algerian search and rescue teams that contributed to the evacuation of the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the region last February.
The ceremony was attended by Algerian Ambassador to Turkey Soufiane Miumani, Colonel Khalifa Moulay, Director of First Aid Organization and Coordination at the General Directorate and Head of the Civil Protection Team participating in search and rescue operations in Turkey, yesterday in Ankara, according to the Directorate General of Civil Protection.
