Embodying an “important” agreement between the Ministries of Health and Vocational Training

The departments of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education have begun embodying the terms of the agreement concluded between the two bodies regarding developing professional qualifications and enhancing the competencies of employees in the health sector.

A statement by the Ministry of Health, on Sunday, explained that the Ministry of Health has begun signing a joint ministerial instruction that specifies the practical methods for implementing the content of the previously mentioned agreement and requires joint work between institutions affiliated with the vocational training and education sector, as well as institutions and bodies affiliated with the health sector.

The same statement added that, within the framework of implementing the cooperation and partnership agreement between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education concluded between the interests of the two ministerial departments on October 25, which aims to develop professional qualifications and enhance the competencies of employees in the health sector, through a work program to be implemented on… The local level, where training programs were designed and formulated, with the participation of the interests of both sectors, by specialists and professors in the professions proposed for training, which will be approved during the training courses scheduled to be launched this month.

The same source highlighted that the partnership concerns the fields of hospital cleaning and health preservation techniques, maintenance of biomedical equipment, hospital cooking and feeding, reception in the health institution, administrative secretariat, and exploitation of office programs, as he will benefit from these training courses that will last until the end of the current year and will be renewed. Automatically, at the beginning of the new year 2024, more than 19,000 professional, technical and administrative users, affiliated with the health sector.

According to the Ministry of Health’s statement, the necessary financial allocations will be allocated to cover the costs resulting from implementing the terms of the agreement.

The Minister of Vocational Training and Education had confirmed that the signing of the partnership and cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Health is an embodiment of the openness of the vocational training and education sector to its external environment and a reflection of an inter-participatory approach, and a desire to continue and persevere in serving the country.

The Minister explained during the signing activities of this agreement that the latter is only the beginning of continuous and mutual work to provide everything that is new and useful to raise the status of the two sectors in a way that embodies the implementation of the President of the Republic’s program, through coordinating joint government work among all sectors, in order to revive The national economy and the development of the national human resource in new training fields that support the national employment policy.
