The same source highlighted that “on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, and in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 63-278, which includes a list Legal holidays Amended and supplemented, the tenth Sunday, eleventh Monday, and twelfth Tuesday of the month of Dhul-Hijjah in the year 1445 AH, corresponding to June 16, 17, and 18, 2024, will be paid holidays for all employees of institutions andPublic administrations Public and private bodies and offices, as well as for all employees of public and private institutions in all sectors, regardless of their basic law, including daily or hourly employees.”
The same source also added, “The public institutions, departments, agencies, offices, and institutions mentioned above must take all necessary measures to ensure continuity of service in the departments that operate on a rotational system.”
The Council of Ministers, meeting under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic, agreed to extend the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays to 3 paid days. The President of the Republic also ordered, during the meeting, to review retirement pensions annually on May 1st.
It was decided during the same meeting to introduce a law to regularize buildings built illegally, emphasizing the need to distinguish between illegal buildings and chaotic buildings.
