Frankly, as a businessman and investor in various fields, we have found that investing in Algeria achieves high profits in all fields due to the support and privileges provided by the Algerian government in all areas of investment. I see that Algeria is a promising country and a fertile space for establishing investment projects, and what attracted us to This beautiful, wonderful country is what we saw and felt from the generous and hospitable Algerian people, and what attracted me most was that relationship and the strong, solid, solid bridges through which brotherhood and mutual respect pass, relationships characterized by a high degree of great trust, cooperation and joint coordination based on deep foundations between us.

Tell us about the reason you came to Algeria?

In fact, I came here at the kind invitation of my brother and friend, Dr. Al-Tijani Muhammad. The president and general manager of the giant complex, who invited me to review and learn about investment opportunities and the new investment law that encourages the entry of foreign investors into Algeria and to benefit from the facilities and privileges that the government provides to citizens and foreigners. This visit is considered the first of its kind. I await the next visits, God willing, as well, and after I listened. To the speech of the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Mr. Tayeb Zitouni, which he delivered at the Union of Saudi Chambers when he visited Riyadh with a high-level delegation. The words of His Excellency the Minister encouraged us to pay attention and visit to explore investment opportunities, and when Minister Tayeb Zitouni reviewed many strong economic ideas that fall within the category of developing the Algerian economy. Regarding the stimulating Algerian business environment, it is a speech that opened the appetite for investment in your country, Algeria. He confirmed in his statement that he came at the direction of the President of the Algerian Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, may God protect him, and that he came to Saudi Arabia based on the directives of Mr. President Tebboune, where he told them that businessmen Saudi investors are welcome in their country, Algeria, and they will enjoy a number of privileges and facilities for investors.

Within the framework of promoting investment, and giving full guarantee to local and foreign investors, Algeria issued a law in this field valid for ten years. Do you have knowledge of it, and what is your evaluation of it?

We at the International Center for Investment and Strategic Partnership are looking for opportunities everywhere, and we have investigated investment opportunities in Algeria, and also through the speech of the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Tayeb Zitouni, that the investment law in Algeria has been reviewed, and that a law valid for ten years has been issued, which is what The investor in Algeria was allowed the right to own one hundred percent of his projects, and the previously applied commercial rule “49/51” does not apply to all joint projects between Algeria and the foreign partner. The provisions of this law aim to encourage investment, with the aim of: developing priority activity sectors. We were very surprised by the contents of the new investment law and the advantages for the non-Algerian investor. These facilities and privileges provided by the Algerian government, and this is what motivated and encouraged us as investors in the private sector to think about entering Algeria and establishing projects on its land, and through our knowledge and review of the investment laws here in Algeria, we realized that The investor is supported very greatly by the government, and Algerian banks are a catalyst for establishing productive investments for various materials and products, and they finance the foreign investor and the citizen. We also found that the law provides exemptions from various fees, such as electricity and water fees, and we value the speech of the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Tayeb Zitouni. When he stated that the Saudi investor is considered a reliable partner who is proficient in modern technologies used in various fields.

From this platform, I call on my fellow Algerian businessmen to invest in my country, as Saudi Arabia is one of the most attractive countries for investments due to its strong and growing economy. The Kingdom’s gross domestic product is more than 800 billion US dollars.

Its strategic location is located in the heart of the Arab world, making it a gateway for trade and investments between East and West, a promising market, advanced infrastructure, and a stimulating investment environment. There is a stable legal system that protects the foreign investor and tax incentives from temporary exemptions and other things. This national investment strategy is one of the main possibilities for achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s vision. 2030. Behind this strategy and supporting it is Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, may God protect him, the godfather of the vision, who said that Saudi Vision 2030 is a journey, not a final destination.

Algeria is a beautiful tourist destination. It is a sub-continent and therefore an important destination for domestic and foreign tourism. Personally, I was very impressed by the beautiful views and images I saw. I discovered that Algeria is characterized by tourism diversity, which makes tourism investment profitable and has excellent returns. I was very impressed by the natural landscapes and cultural heritage that it has. The history of this ancient country is distinguished. I wish all the best, stability and prosperity for the Algerian state and its people. I was optimistic about this huge number of charming tourist destinations. Investment in this field generates profits and will benefit this country and the investor. I hope that there will be plans for advertising and promoting tourism so that we can learn more about it. We did not visit the rest of the tourist destinations, as we learned that there are tourist areas that are considered beautiful in the world, which calls for the necessity of establishing projects in this sector. Algerians are generous and hospitable. Also, if Algeria targets family tourism in the Gulf, I believe that there will be great interest and a very large attendance of tourists, and it will achieve great economic returns. How do you see Algeria’s future for foreign investments?
