The meeting of the government and governors concluded today, Wednesday, at the Palais des Nations, under the supervision of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, with several recommendations, which are as follows:
– Issuing legal provisions to enhance the role of the governor with regard to financial disbursement
– Establishing a development program according to multi-year plans and resetting the registration of the public investment program
Reviewing methods for granting financial subsidies to municipalities and improving the management of major structured projects
– Developing a decree related to budgetary programming, strengthening human resources, and strengthening municipalities and states with the necessary capabilities by establishing contractual procedures.
– Reactivating the programming directorates, establishing the National Council for Finance and Taxation, and strengthening the capabilities related to local collection
