Professor Fares Mokhtari, Director of the University of Algiers 1 Ben Youssef Ben Khadda, supervised an important meeting to launch the new digital platform for social services, within the framework of implementing the Ministry’s decisions regarding the digitization of the higher education sector and the “zero paper” policy.
According to a statement from the same authorities, the meeting was attended by university vice presidents, college deans, and committee heads University services For the five colleges, in addition to representatives of the professors’ and workers’ unions, and a number of social partners.
The occasion was for Professor Fares Mokhtari to deliver an opening speech, during which he highlighted the importance of digitization and the necessity of creating new platforms for the effective management of the university, including the new digital platform for university services, which will respond to the specificities of the social programs of each college individually, and will facilitate the administrative procedures of the Social Services Committee, This saves effort and time in following these procedures. He also stressed the importance of maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of files Professors And the workers.
The meeting included a detailed explanation of the digital platform by Al-Arabi Engineer Khaldi, the platform’s supervisor. A broad discussion was also opened in which the appreciation of the social partners for this positive initiative was emphasized, and the university director and the engineer responsible for it answered the questions raised about the mechanisms for activating the platform and how it works.
