Civil Protection: No losses were recorded as a result of the earthquake in the capital – New Algiers

The General Directorate of Civil Protection revealed that no distress call or intervention was recorded following the earthquake that struck Algiers today.

It is noteworthy that the Center for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics recorded an earthquake measuring 3.1 degrees on the Richter scale today. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 4 km southeast of Casablanca, Algeria.

Civil Protection confirmed that, after the process of identification and reconnaissance, through the practical coordination centers of the provinces of Algeria, Blida. No distress call or intervention was recorded.
