Civil Protection calls for the prevention of accidents on Eid al-Adha – New Algeria
In a statement today, Wednesday, the Civil Protection Services called on citizens to respect preventive instructions to avoid a different scenario Accidents During the Eid al-Adha celebrations.
The statement stated that in anticipation of the celebration of Eid al-Adha, Civil Protection calls on citizens to respect Instructions In order to prevent various accidents, such as fires and wounds resulting from the misuse of knives, cleavers, and cooking appliances, especially (tabletops).
In this context, the same authorities called for not leaving knives and cleavers within the reach of children, monitoring the validity period and safety of the gas regulator and gas delivery pipes for cooking appliances, and also not leaving torches and cooking appliances burning unattended.
It also advised citizens to prevent children from approaching fire sources and not to barbecue inside or near forests to avoid the outbreak of fires and to prepare special places for that, with the necessity of disposing of waste safely in closed bags.
As for road users, it reminded of the necessity of adhering to the rules of the Traffic and Traffic Safety Law, avoiding excessive speed and dangerous transgressions, as well as respecting the safety distance and taking sufficient rest when feeling tired. It also urged motorcycle users to wear a helmet when driving and adhere to the traffic law.
