Civil Protection: 14 people drowned within 48 hours – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia
The civil protection interests recorded during the last 48 hours the death of 14 people by drowning, including 12 at sea, in several states of the country, according to a statement by the General Directorate of Civil Protection, this Saturday.
The same source stated that the civil protection intervention teams recovered 14 people who died by drowning, 12 of them at sea and two (2) at the level of water bodies in several states of the country.
With regard to the drowned at sea, according to the statement, the body of (1) a 30-year-old young man was recovered from Annaba, the body of a 16-year-old teenager in El-Taref, and two (2) bodies of 50 and 24-year-olds.
And in the wilaya of Bejaia, the body of a 16-year-old teenager was recovered, two bodies of two teenagers aged 17 and 16 years old, and three (3) bodies in Skikda aged 24 and 2 years, and in Oran, the body of a young man (1) aged 18 years, as well as in Boumerdes. For a 46-year-old man.
As for the water bodies – the same source adds – the body of a 42-year-old man who died of drowning in a water barrier in El-Taref state was recovered, as well as in Mila, where the body of a 13-year-old child who died by drowning in a valley was also recovered.
