CEO of the Malaysian Lion Group: We seek to invest in Algeria in several sectors – Algerian Dialogue

The CEO of the Malaysian Lion Group, Tan Sri William Chang, revealed on Wednesday, after being received by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the group’s intention to invest in Algeria in several sectors.

Mr. Chang stated, after the reception that took place at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, that he came “with the aim of investing in Algeria and searching for opportunities to expand our business in the field of the aluminum industry as a start, and from there to launch agricultural and other projects in the field of mines.”

He continued by saying that during the meeting with the President of the Republic, views were exchanged and available investment opportunities were studied.

The meeting was attended by Messrs. Boualem Boualem, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Mohamed Arkab, Minister of State and Minister of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energies, Sifi Gharib, Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, and Omar Rekache, Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency.
