In Issue 44 of the Official Gazette, an executive decree was issued containing the abolition of the classification of an agricultural plot of land for the purpose of establishing a logistic base and corridor for the zinc and lead mines in Thala Hamza and Amizour (Bejaia Province).
The matter relates to Executive Decree No. 23-231 signed by the Prime Minister, Mr. Ayman bin Abdelrahman, on June 20, which includes the abolition of the classification of an agricultural plot located in the municipality of Thala Hamza (Bejaia Province), destined for the completion of a logistical base and a corridor for the zinc and lead mine in Thala Hamza and Amizour.
The boundaries of the plot of land in question are determined by an area of 6 hectares, 30 acres and 11 centaras, according to the same source.
In the same issue of the Official Gazette, another executive decree was issued, including the abolition of the classification of agricultural lands destined for duplication, modernization and correction of the eastern mining railway.
According to Decree No. 23-233 of June 20, 2023, the total area of the concerned agricultural plots is 617 hectares, 57 acres and 75 centaras located in the governorates of El Tarf, Guelma, Souk Ahras and Tebessa.
