The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, chaired, on Sunday, a Council of Ministers meeting, devoted to following up on the progress report on the progress of the digitization process, the Basic Law and the Imam’s compensation system, and a presentation on model farms.
The following is the full text of the statement of the Presidency of the Republic, regarding the decisions taken by President Tebboune during the meeting:
“Today, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, chaired a Council of Ministers meeting, devoted to following up on the progress report on the progress of the digitization process, the Basic Law and the Imam’s compensation system, and a presentation on model farms.
Following the presentation of the meeting agenda, then the Prime Minister’s presentation of the government’s activity for the last two weeks and the interventions of the Ministers, the President of the Republic gave the following orders, instructions and directives:
Regarding the progress report on the progress of the digitization process:
After the presentation of the first interim report by the High Lady of Digitization, the President of the Republic ordered accelerating the pace of work to enter the second phase of the project and then presenting her report at the next meeting of the Council of Ministers.
Regarding a presentation on model farms:
Mr. President of the Republic, Mr. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, ordered to change the nature of model farms, starting from their name, all the way to their agricultural and economic function as a whole.
Mr. President ordered the integration of model farms into the wheel of national production, especially those with large areas, to cover the deficit, especially in the legumes division.
Regarding the basic law and the compensation system for the imam:
The Council of Ministers approved the compensation system for the imam.
General directions:
The President of the Republic instructed the Minister of Energy to convey his thanks and encouragement to the tires and workers of the Sonelgaz company for their efforts, which reflected positively on the agricultural sector and national production as a whole.
The Council of Ministers will conclude its session by approving decrees and decisions that include appointments and termination of assignments in senior positions in the state.
