The National Gendarmerie services in Boumerdes were able to dismantle an international criminal network specialized in organizing illegal immigration trips by sea, as a result of which 49 people were arrested and a sum of money in national and foreign currencies and other purposes was seized, according to what was reported, today, Saturday, in a statement by the same services.

The statement explained that, within the framework of combating crime of all kinds, units of the Regional Group of the National Gendarmerie in Boumerdes were able to “dismantle an international criminal network specialized in organizing illegal immigration flights, starting from the state of Boumerdes and its neighboring states, to the shores of the state of Oran, through African intermediaries, by organizing Several separate operations.
