To strengthen the Algerian-Ivorian parliamentary relations, Brahim Bogali will participate tomorrow, Monday, in the opening of the regular session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, after receiving an invitation to attend its ceremony by his counterpart, Adama Pictogo.
Algeria and Côte d’Ivoire have multifaceted bilateral relations, characterized by mutual eagerness to strengthen them. This was embodied in the many agreements signed between the two countries, which are among the largest economies of the continent, as well as in the statements that senior officials of the two countries have been confirming this endeavor in various forums.
As for the parliamentary level, the relations between the two chambers have been strengthened, especially after the establishment of a parliamentary group of friendship in March of last year, within the framework of a vision aimed at stimulating cooperation at this level between two countries that have great potential to achieve the desired leap in various fields.
It is noteworthy that the President of the Council will hold during this visit, which will last for three days, several meetings with senior local officials or invited guests participating in this appointment.
The Speaker of the Council is accompanied by a delegation consisting of Vice-President Wahid Al-Sayed Al-Sheikh, Mohamed Dukkani, Chairman of the Parliamentary Group for Friendship Algeria Côte d’Ivoire, Deputy Farida Jebali, and the President’s advisors for foreign affairs and media.
